Gurupurab celebration.
In Shri Gurudwara sahib Lumley, beside the weekly samagams, the Gurpurabs are celebrated annually by support of Sangat full of devotion.
Gurpurab of Shri Guru Nanak dev ji, Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, khalsa’s Birthday Baisakhi are celebrated annually in which sangat took part in large numbers.
These gurpurabs are celebrated with the schedule of the Shri Akhand path or Sehaj path. Children took part in various activities to perform on stage which includes, A poem, A speech or kirtan. Consultation prizes were given to children to encourage them to stay uprooted with their culture and Gurbani.
Smagams include katha, kirtan and Guru ka langar. Sangat cherishes their souls with kirtan and their body by guru ka langar .

Beside this Shahidi purab of Shri Guru Arjun Dev ji also observed by sangat with the routine of Chalyia of Shri Sukhmani sahib . Chain of Shri Sukhmani sahib was started by management and sangat took sewa of Shri Sukhmani sahib continusly for 15-20 days either in their residence or in Shri Gurudwara sahib, keeping our traditional roots alive. Langar of chabeel was prepared by sangat reminding us of our cultural ethics and values we learn from India.
Parkash purab of Shri Guru Hargobind ji , holy and pious days for mothers also celebrated in Gurudwara sahib make us remind the missi roti sewa we used to do with our mothers.
A lot of Sangat took part in parshada sewa which shows their trust and believe in guru sahib .
